Understanding Probiotics

Within the health industry, it’s often difficult to know whether a product can truly help you, or whether it’s just the focus of the latest “health fad”. While probiotics are a fairly new product on the market, the majority of the research conducted has shown that probiotics are beneficial — it just depends on the kind you purchase, as not all probiotics are the same. But before we go down that road, let’s truly understand what a “probiotic” really is, and why it’s important for your long-term health.

Probiotics are “good” bacteria found in the human gastrointestinal tract. In order to maintain a proper functioning intestinal and immune system, it is important to create a proper balance of both “good” and “bad” bacteria. Unfortunately, with a lot of the processed and fast foods we eat lately, the number of “bad” bacteria is increasingly outnumbering the “good” bacteria.

“Bad” bacteria can be introduced into the body in various ways (i.e. bad diet, antibiotics, and stress). If these bacteria increase, this may lead to a number of health risks,

including respiratory infections, food allergies, gas and/or bloating, and weight gain. In order to rebalance your digestive system, it’s important to ingest more probiotics into your diet. The problem is that many foods, juices and supplements on the market today are not strong enough to survive the digestive process to actually be effective. This is where using a probiotic supplement like Just Thrive will provide strains that survive and start working in the intestines, leading to much healthier digestion.

Choosing a probiotic to work for you can be a difficult process. While we can’t speak on other probiotics, we are confident in Just Thrive’s patented probiotic strain know as Bacillus Indicus HU36, which produces antioxidants such as CoQ10, beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein, astaxanthin and zeazanthin. This is the premiere probiotic/antioxidant blend, and the only product on the market that combines both a probiotic and antioxidant.

Regardless of which probiotic you choose, be sure to get one that will sufficiently make it through your digestive system and provide the most benefits available to you. When you take a probiotic and it doesn’t improve your daily life, then you should try a new one. Be sure to experiment to find the best product for you. Share your experiences with us on our social networks, and in the comments. We’d love to hear from you and how
Just Thrive has improved your daily life.
